This weekend, Michael Bauer reviewed Locanda, Delfina’s Roman-inspired sibling. The Mission hotspot notched 2.5 stars.
Locanda opened at the end of April, nearly a year after Ramblas closed. During the pre-opening build-up, chef Anthony Strong let Inside Scoop into the dish creation process with a four-part series dubbed “Locanda Diaries”, wherein he detailed the stories behind Locanda’s Amatriciana, Trippa alla Romana, Jewish-Style Artichokes, and Short Ribs.
But back to the review. Have you been? Do you think Locanda deserved 3 stars? 2 stars? Read the review in full, peruse the gallery (and corresponding Bauer quotes) above, and share your Locanda thoughts in the comments.
